2006-01-27 [runnybabbit]: Just call me Rabbit, please-and-thankyou. And I'm fine, I guess. I scratched up my knee a bit, and it's bruised, but not bad. I've had worse injuries. It's sad; people think dancing's 'girlie...' but dancers get far more worse--and more--injuries than football players do. I've torn a tendon in my ankle before, and had surgery on it. They thought I wouldn't dance anymore, but....^^ I surprised them.

2006-01-28 [Skydancer]: All kinds. Any serious dance, not "recreational" although that certainly can also, is definately prone to injury. Professional or competive dance is an extremely athletic and intense routine. Just a very tiny example but one that is very much a part of the dance culture is toe dance in ballet. It hurts, and bloody feet are not at all uncommon as dancers work to learn to do so, it is quite unatural and extremely hard on the feet.

2006-01-28 [Lothuriel]: ugh, I took ballet for just over a year....Naturally, I didn't get far enough to practice the "toe dancing" but, it was painful nonetheless.

2006-02-11 [Brind'Amour]: lol...I think its human nature to be somewhat arrogant. Pride is the cause of that, every person has something they are proud of, and so everyone has the potential to become arrogant.

2006-02-11 [Brind'Amour]: But see, thats the real tragedy. Most Jedi that become too arrogant, get that way because that which they have pride in, is their ability to use the force. Its a weakness that can be seen in many of the greatest Jedi of all time, and in many Sith as well. The force can bring balance, but the person using it cannot be proud of the fact that he is able to use it, and that is harder than it sounds.
